How do I change the color scheme? Some of the color combinations are nearly unreadable.
Where are the other forums? Is everything supposed to be in general? How about members only?
Color scheme... what are you talking about in particular?
Refresh your page for the rest. I just made you a "member"
I see the other forums now, thanks.
I prefer to see dark text on light background, or at least more contrast between them like white on black. And there's these strange pastel colors on varying colors of maroon. I would have hoped that it was something that could be configured on a per user basis so that people who like to read light on dark can leave it one way while people like me who prefer the opposite can change it to what's comfortable to them.
But based on what I'm hearing there is not a way for me to change my settings for me personally. Correct?
I noticed that the headings for each of the forums were varying colors, is this configurable, is there a reason they are different colors? Is there a reason that your text in your forum posts are red?
Unfortunately I am a stubborn person and don't like change so I question all the changes I am forced to face

I'm still working on the colors in the forums piece. I was toying with the idea that the different colors help differentiate the different forum boards. However, I'm still not sure it's working. My color is red cause I'm the web admin, and havent gotten around to fixing that yet either.
No, there is no way for you specifically to change the color of your interface, but in your posts, if you look up to the top of your toolbar, you will see a little color picker so you too can make your colors look justlike this.

Do you know what the chain of command is here? It's the chain I go get and beat you with to show you who's in command.
Is there a way to group the Class Discussions into one folder and then break out from their based on class.
For Instance Class Discussions -Warrior -Warlock -Priest etc...
Actually, yes there is... and I can set it back to that if you'd like to see how it looks. I did it originally, but then thought it might be a bit confusing.

There now, it's shaping up, just create a couple of more categories and then it will look more organized.
Any suggestions on categories? I will be happy to hear them.
I assume we have "Public" forums and "Guild Only"? You already created a "Tradeskills" you could make sub-forums for the various tradeskills "Instance discussions" which could include strategy discussion and links as well as the Looking for Group forum.

Right. Example, right now we're actually posting in the "Public" thread, which as soon as I finish typing this, I will rename from General to Public.
The other ideas are excellent ones. I'll get those incorporated. They'll be like the Class Discussion ones.

I assumed the General Forum would be dropped under public as well as news and Friends of Ter Novo.
Guild Only could become a group with a General Discussion forum and anything else that is not public knowledge but I'm not sure what else would fall under this heading.
Jayne, Any way to move the General/public stuff to the top of the list?
Yeah, by ungrouping it out of public unfortunately. No way to organize it any better than it already is. It's because of the way the forums work.. they're based on thread tags, not forum boards.

I'm wondering if the groupings are setup like this Uncategorized ( other groups alphabetized )
If that's the case, maybe changing "Public" to "General" to bring it over "Professions" or maybe something else to bring it over "Class discussions" might work?
Or perhaps putting a number at the beginning ie: 1 - Public 2 - Class 3 - Professions
Maybe that would help organize a bit. I just hate having to scroll to the bottom to see the public forums
