For the very few souls who come by here, I just wanted them to know:

Around mid-July the renewal for Ter Novo's website will lapse. I have decided that I'm not going to renew it and spend the money keeping the site going due to complete lack of use. It's a sad decision to make, but the site hasn't been used in any real capacity for a long time.

It's been my pleasure running the site. I hope to see you all in the game still.

Tuesday, September 18th the first Scenario goes live: Theramore's Fall. Update: They changed it to..TODAY!

(Scenarios are a new features in Mists: they are instanced versions of group quests, essentially. They are for 90th level characters, so you can consider them "heroic quests")

For the week leading up to Mists, this scenario will be a special event for level 85 characters. Once Mists goes live on the 25th, the 85th level version of this scenario will be gone forever: this scenario is the "world event" for Mists and we Alliance members will be trying to defend Theramore in it.

Note: You need to have an average item level of 353 for your 85th level character to be able to participate in the Theramore Scenario!

There's sure to be a Feat of Strength and other one-time-only goodies, so make sure to queue for it, preferably with a guild group! You can group for a scenario with up to 3 people and they are found on a tab with the Dungeon Finder tool.

Patch 5.0.4 is HERE, with all of its glorious (and confusing) rules changes. The biggest one:

Pets, mounts, and achievements are going ACCOUNT-WIDE, so all of your toons will share them.

The old talent trees are dead and everyone will (at level 85) instead have 5 choices of which talents to start Mists with. All of the class essentials you are used to having are now baked directly into your spec; talents are now a list of optional powers that you get to pick from.

As a reminder, Mists of Pandaria officially goes live on September 25th.

On June 5, 2012, after a two week break, Ter Novo gathered its forces to one shot Deathwing. This is the first time Ter Novo has defeated an end boss during an expansion! Huzzah!

The new expansion has been announced: Mists of Pandaria!

Early reports show that Wow 5.0 is going to be a completely different game:

Each class will have ONE talent tree, with a total of 6 talents you can choose at level 90 (one talent every 15 levels). There will be no standard talent selection; the whole trees are just choices of which special abilities you want. At level 10, you choose your spec and as you level you automatically get that spec's special abilities. Talents are optional powers, now, to customize your character.

Ranged slot is REMOVED for everyone but hunters, who will have no minimum range and NO MELEE WEAPON!

Resilience will be a baseline stat. PVP gear will add to it, but you'll have a fighting chance to get into PVP combat without being decked head-to-toe in PVP gear!

Pets will be able to fight in Pet Battles! Pokemon in WoW is coming!

Account-level achievements and more account-bound items.
